One rainy Sunday afternoon I found myself sitting at my PC with my cousin Paul and we got talking about one of our favourite authors, Shaun Hutson. Eager to discover if a new Hutson novel was due out we turned to the Internet. After some quite extensive searching, I found out one thing - Shaun Hutson had next to no web presence.
I'd been teaching myself how to build a basic website and wondered if I had it in me to create one dedicated to Shaun Hutson - the website that I'd just been searching for. A website with everything and anything someone would possibly want to know about Shaun Hutson. Something people would find genuinely useful.
I decided to write to Shaun and tell him about my plan. On 12th April 1999 he replied.
"Go to it", he said.
Then began a full years research. I travelled to countless libraries and wrote to lots of people in my quest to create what I hope is one of the most definitive sites on any author on the Internet - shaunhutson.com.
